$100,000 Challenge Issued to Support Undergraduate Research at MSU-Northern
The MSU-Northern Foundation is honored to announce a remarkable $100,000 challenge in support of the Undergraduate Science Research Endowment, made possible by the exceptional generosity of dedicated supporters Tim & Kristen Wynne. In a powerful call to action for alumni, businesses, and community members, the Wynne’s have pledged to match every donation, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000.
This challenge builds upon the original vision of Roger and Darlene Pugh, whose generous gift established the Science Research Endowment at MSU-Northern. Their commitment laid the foundation for expanding undergraduate research opportunities, and this new match challenge honors and accelerates the impact of their legacy.
This incredible opportunity allows supporters to help raise a total of $200,000 to strengthen science education, expand research capabilities, and create transformational learning experiences for students at MSU-Northern.
The Science Research Endowment will fund undergraduate research, upgrade laboratory equipment, and support faculty-led projects that give students real-world experience in scientific inquiry. These investments are key to preparing Northern graduates for future careers and advanced study.
